COST ANALYSIS
A brief statement of Cost analysis is as follows:
Cost of the system Rs. 3 lacs. approx.
The total saving of water per day in an
Institute of say 50 students
(as a resultant of these techniques employed) shall be 750-1000 litres
Therefore,
saving of water in 1 year of the water use ( a school session of say 300 days)
shall be = 300x750liters = 2, 25,000 litres
Therefore cost per litre
in the 1st year 300000 = 225000/300000 =
Rs. 0.75 ONLY
But from next year, since there would be almost no investment, water will
also be available almost free of cost.
(Note: the maintenance cost is marginal)
