  Joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1957 and was allotted the Madhya Pradesh cadre. Sought voluntary retirement from service in October, 1984, eight years prior to the date of superannuation. 
An outstanding IAS - Administrator who has headed the offices/departments, even simultaneously, both in State and Central Government.

Mr. O.P. Mehra
 An eminent Bureaucrat, Retired Head of Revenue, Tribal Welfare, etc. Departments of Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, has a wealth of experience in the field of Applied Research.

A Retd. IFS, with vast experience in different aspects of forestry management including afforestation and wild life, and project evaluator of various organisations (NAEB, NWDB, WWF, TCP, CAPART, etc.)

  A retired Civil servant with a vast background of Survey, Settlement & Revenue law, both for rural and urban land management. Other areas of experience: Rural Development, Cadastral Surveys and Mapping and Planning and Management of Scarcity and Relief operations.

   Retired from Madhya Pradesh government as Joint Development Commissioner, Rural Development Deptt.
He was also the Sole Advisor to Watershed Mission, M.P.

   A distinguished personality in the field of Computers retired as General Manager (Computers) & Head of Computer Division, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bhopal & currently Advisor to BHEL; is associated with Govt. and Non-Govt. Institutions as Philosopher/guide.

   A highly experienced Researcher and Analyst with quality works in the field of Rural Development, Slum Upgradation, Employment Generation, Poverty Alleviation etc. Has on record several publications & books apart from Research Reports.

Mr. V.Saraf
  A person with rich experience and contribution towards Computer Applications, Systems Development, & Computer Literacy at various levels. He has several innovative products and outputs on profile and has prime work area as IT Applications in Rural Development.

Our People:

 NCHSE has technically qualified and experienced personnel specialising in execution of field tasks and managerial skills. The officers and staff are drawn from backgrounds of Urban Planning, Environment, Rural Development, Tribal Development, Social Works and Community Organisation, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Revenue and Land Matters, Forestry, Architecture, Human Rights, Citizens' Entitlement and Consumer Affairs, Computers, GIS and Remote Sensing, Accounts and Management, etc. The Centre has an over all strength of 98 persons of which, over 75 percent are deployed in the various projects in the field.
